Alexa Hampton will be coming to Jacksonville. I am very honored to have this blog post first published by The Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital in anticipation of this year’s Art & Antiques Show- a dynamic event with the goal to preserve the healthy lives of our children.

Perhaps it’s the horse racing, beautiful hats, and the thrill of gambling that accompanies its iconic status at Churchill Downs. But, like most things in the South… it has a story much older and a history much more complex.
